Deanslade Events

Good evening everyone,

I’ve been made aware that some posters are being circulated which suggest that I, at Deanslade, am looking to make major changes to the status quo. I want to reassure everyone that this is not the case.

The only change I am requesting is to move from using Temporary Event Notices (TENs) to a permanent licence. Deanslade has been open for nearly four years, during which time we’ve worked hard to run well-managed, enjoyable events with no disruption to the local community or environment.

For clarity, a recent complaint received by the licensing team regarding fireworks on Saturday night was not related to Deanslade. It came from a private garden on the estate near Gee Close.

If anyone would like to talk this through or better understand what is being requested, please feel free to contact me at jo@deanslade.events.

What a few days…💗

On Friday, we said our final goodbyes to my dad. I miss him so much, but I know he would have been proud of the beautiful send-off we gave him at Deanslade — complete with a hint of pink, just for him. 💕

Somehow, we picked ourselves up and kept going…
Saturday was all about celebrating Poppy’s 18th 🎉
Then a gorgeous baby shower for Fiona 🤍
And we finished the weekend with a calming Breathwork session from Aaliyah and a soothing sound bath from Stillness in Sound.

It’s been emotional, exhausting, healing, and full of love — all at once.
Feeling grateful for everyone who has held us, celebrated with us, and supported us through it all. 💛

💕 We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Charlotte, her family, and friends to Deanslade Events for her Baby Shower – and what a beautiful day it was!

With a splash of pink theme, the room came alive with smiles, laughter, and stylish touches that made Deanslade look truly “pretty in pink.” ✨

The team transformed the space in under an hour to create the perfect backdrop, while Charlotte’s guests enjoyed a delicious buffet of savoury bites and sweet treats. 🍴

It was such a joy to host this milestone occasion, and we’re so grateful to Charlotte for choosing us to be part of her special day. 💖

Congratulations once again, Charlotte – we wish you all the happiness in this next chapter!

Italian Improver 3 Course – Autumn 2025

Ready to take your Italian to the next level?
Join us this autumn for Improver 3, the perfect course for learners who are already comfortable using the passato prossimo.

Over 11 weeks, we’ll consolidate the past, present, and future tenses, and introduce useful grammar such as direct/indirect pronouns, ci, and ne—all in a relaxed, friendly setting. 🌟
