🎃👻 Spooky season for a great cause! 👻🎃

One of our amazing supporters on Enville Road, Kinver is going all out this Halloween by decorating their house in extravagant spooky style to raise money for Tabatha Shenton, who’s running the London Marathon in support of Staffordshire Network for Mental Health! 💙🏃‍♀️🌱

This isn’t the first year their house has become a Halloween highlight, but this time, it’s bigger, better, and even spookier than ever! Expect:
🕸️ Trick or treat goodie bags
🎯 Fun games and prizes
🎃 Frighteningly fantastic decorations!

💙🌻 Journey to Wellbeing for Ukrainians – Reaching Out in Burton 🌻💙

Our J2WfU team had a truly productive and inspiring day out in Burton, connecting with local organisations and the community to share information about our programmes.

Kerry and Sveta visited a range of locations, from Morrisons and the Job Centre, to the library, community centres, and even local shops, spreading the word about Journey to Wellbeing for Ukrainians and Toolbox. 🌱

They met so many welcoming people along the way who kindly offered to display our leaflets and help raise awareness of the support available. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to chat, share information, and help us connect with the Ukrainian community in Burton, and to Kerry and Sveta for their fantastic teamwork and dedication to reaching those who may benefit most. 💙

🏃‍♀️💛 6 Months to Go, London Marathon 2026! 💛🏃‍♀️

We’re thrilled to share that Tabatha has courageously taken on the incredible challenge of running the London Marathon in just six months’ time, all in support of Staffordshire Network for Mental Health 🌱✨

This is what Tabatha had to say about why she’s doing it:

“Although I'm not running this in memory of anyone in particular, I will be running it with many people in mind on the day.
I am running on behalf of Staffordshire Network for Mental Health, which is a small and friendly local charity supporting people’s mental health and wellbeing, a fantastic cause.
I’ve had my own personal struggles with my mental health and feel that anything I can do to help others with similar issues can only be a positive thing.” 💛

🌱💚 From Plot to Plate, Supporting Our Community 💚🌱

This week marks the last of this year’s produce from Steve’s allotment, all donated to the foodbank to support local families. 🥕🍅🥔

A huge well done and thank you to Steve for all his hard work throughout the year: growing, tending, and harvesting with care and dedication. 🌾👏

Now, as the season ends, Steve is already preparing the allotment for spring planting, ready to start the cycle all over again! 🌼💪
