Our Co-Founder’s Story
Three years ago, Carl Beech was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease after clinical assessments and a DATscan.
Today, Carl is medication-free and symptom-free and has been for over 40 days. His neurologist — one of the world’s leading experts — has acknowledged that Carl’s symptom-free and medication-free status represents a global first in documented cases. There will be follow up scans and assessments.
Carl’s experience is personal to him, and it was one of the driving forces behind co-inventing the BeechBand with our CTO, Nick Whiteley.
BeechBand is a wellness device designed to provide gentle subconscious vibrotactile stimulation. (SVTS) While Carl’s story inspires us, everyone’s journey is different. We’re committed to ongoing research to better understand how BeechBand may help people in daily life.
