I often talk about needing to challenge ourselves in order to grow. Sometimes that challenge can feel terrifying.

Today, I faced a huge fear, one that has stopped me from having really good opportunities in the past. Today, with thanks to Jocelyn at My Surrogacy Journey, I faced that fear and did my first Instalive.
As is usually the case, the fear of doing it was much bigger than actually doing it.

Im proud of myself for feeling the fear and doing it anyway.

If you get the opportunity to challenge yourself, try it. See what happens. It might not be as scary as you initially thought...

Today can be difficult for a lot of people. Thinking of those who also wish to be dad's and are having to navigate the feelings today might bring.

Great to catch up with the team. A wonderful organisation that I offer counselling support for intended parents and surrogates, thinking about and going through their surrogacy journey.

Mothers day can be very difficult for lots of people. Some get to spend time with their mum, some wish they could spend time with her, some long to feel what it's like to be a mum, and some have never known their mum.
Everyone will experience mothers day differently. If all you can do is wait for the day to be over, be gentle, be kind to yourself, and I hope tomorrow is easier than today.
