We are taught to think harder for our ideas… that our decision making lies within our brain cells… when from the dawn of time our creativity lies within, deeper… if you feel stuck within a decision (I often do as recognise there’s a lot of freeze lying within my system), I would highly recommend moving to darkness… the underworld holds the answers. Your answers. Not answers from an external force or system. Impulses and desires lit in your very soul. And no, this is not just woo woo nonsense, this legit, embodied, bass ass reality. Go on, I dare you, Try it. Let me know 😍🔥🫶🏼

That “anxiety” that’s rising in your chest, isn’t a you problem. It’s your bodies way of trying to get your attention. It’s all those times you kept small, kept quiet, kept your presence from being seen as you didn’t want to disrupt or disturb the peace, you wanted to fit in. We all do. But what if you keep trying to fit into a system that is toxic and broken? What if your body knows there’s more depth, more soul, more love, more expansion, more community, more effing magic? You don’t have to keep trying to fit in to a system that tells you to change who you are. This isn’t about cutting off from reality. This isn’t about spiritual bypassing. This is about finding rich, deep, embodied connection where all parts are wanted. You have magic to bring to this world. Somatic psychotherapy can help you on this journey of finding your true place, your true people… they’ve been here all along ♥️

I tried this multiple times. It didn’t work. You cant keep regulating what doesn’t need regulating. Your body will keep getting your attention until you listen to her fully. Connecting the narrative to the full bodied lived experience allows us to finally move with our body, instead of always feeling we are having to correct it. 🌕Despite what Hugh Grant initally states in about a boy, we are not islands. The world we live in promotes isolation. Promotes an idea that we should be able to do it alone. It is complete BS and IMHO a way to continue to do unspeakable awful things to this world and our people without too much uproar 🤮💔😭
💫But our nervous systems are wired for connection. To ourselves, to others, to the world. We cannot heal alone. We cannot live fully alone. And neither can we heal without recognition of the part we play within it all.
Attachment trauma may have wounded our feeling of safety in connection but the most incredible thing about this is, we are also wired for self healing. Meaning we can relearn safety within our body, towards other bodies, towards the world.
🌎 But we cannot chose which parts we want to accept. We need to a find a way to make relationship to all parts of ourself, the world and others: the dark and light. We might not always like what we find. But it is in finding all of this that we find our way back home to wholeness, to power, to the mystical wonderousness this world has to offer. There are horrific things going on in the world, it is our responsibly to be the voice, the rage, the drive towards a better future

You don’t have to spend your life feeling alone, resentful of others experiencing love, or feeling half full. There’s a way to let love in. And it’s beyond incredible 🧡
