We’re looking for a Family and Community Support Worker to join our Family Support and Wellbeing team.

In this role, you will:
✔️ Provide emotional, social and spiritual support for our patients and their families
✔️ Deliver confidential support to patients, carers/families in the hospice and community
✔️ Coordinate group support sessions alongside the team and trained volunteers

The residents have been hosting lots of lovely fundraising activities throughout the year, from knitting chicks at Easter to holding their own coffee mornings.

We want to say a huge thank you to Claire and her family for raising an incredible £2,000 for St Giles!

Claire’s dad spent his final days at the hospice in July this year. She told us: “The care he received was exceptional, and the support we had as a family allowed us to be with dad at the end of his life - just as it has always been.”

Wanting to give something back, Claire organised a collection day at a Tamworth FC home game, a club her dad supported as a season ticket holder.

Thank you, Claire, for your generosity and incredible fundraising efforts. It’s thanks to people like you that we can continue to care for local people, and their loved ones, living with a terminal illness 🧡
