We want to say a huge thank you to Rosie, Ade and their family for raising an incredible £7,000 at their recent event at Drayton Manor.

The event was held in honour of Rosie’s late son, Michael Murray, on what would have been his 40th birthday. Michael was cared for at St Giles, making this tribute especially meaningful.

This year, Pickerings' annual quiz raised an amazing £1,526 - and over the years, Pickerings Solicitors has raised an incredible £30,000 in total!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible Family Support and Wellbeing team for organising a Christmas sing-along on our Inpatient Unit 🧡

This much-loved festive event brings together patients, families, volunteers and staff each year to sing carols around the keyboard. It’s always a truly special occasion, and this year was no different!

Jane Morris, Senior Family Support Worker - and piano player at the sing-along - recently shared her story as part of our Christmas Appeal, highlighting how her role helps bring comfort to families this Christmas.

It’s your life, and that’s what matters

St Giles Hospice is a registered charity founded in 1983 by the Reverend Paul Brothwell, originally to improve the care of local people dying with cancer. We now support people in our community whose illnesses may not be curable such as cancer, motor neurone disease, heart failure, MS and respiratory disease. We also offer support for families and helpers.

Our dedicated team provides individually-tailored care either at the hospice or in patients’ own homes across our communities.

The range of specialist services is provided free of charge to those who need it. Although St Giles receives some funding from the Government, we rely heavily on donations and fundraising.
