We are BACK for a brand new term !!! 💙🧡

My Rugeley tots spent the day at the farm 🐷🐔🐄🦆🐴🐑 My Discovery tots tapped away to “horsey horsey don’t you stop” in our sensory activity and loved the texture of the Hay. Some of my older social tots were able to name some of the animals and make the sounds. 🐄

It’s wonderful to be back ! I can’t wait to see my Wednesday Lichfield tots at the Lichfield Family Hub 🥳

Classes start back tomorrow! (Eeek) and I can't wait to see lots of familiar faces but also welcome new faces to class.

👶 Baby Development (birth - 6 months) - a gentle paced, welcoming atmosphere where those early months and milestones are shared and celebrated together, friendships are made and you receive a toolkit of knowledge and activities to help you and your little one in this new stage of life.

🌿 Discovery Tots (8 weeks - crawling) - a fun and engaging class filled with music, movement, yoga, signing, sensory play and much more, perfect for curious minds learning about themselves and the world around them.

🌻 Social Tots ( crawling - 3 years) - where confidence grows and physical skills, sensory exploration and friendships are developed through fun and play.

Hi everyone ! I hope you are ok and enjoying the half term break 🤩 I have spent this week with my little ones 💙 We took a trip to the Lichfield Garrick and watched the Dinosaur that pooped Rockshow 🦖 The boys loved it ! 💩 (highly recommend!)

We have been taking autumn walks with friends, watching movies and carving pumpkins ready for Halloween 🎃

Welcome emails will be with you in the next few days with lots of information about the new term and special guests ! Super exciting. We also have upcoming news about our Christmas specials !! (YES I am going there !) 🎅🏻⛄️❄️

Babies are social creatures, and they love to make friends! 👶🏼 Baby classes are a great way for babies to meet other babies and learn how to interact with them, and it’s an experience they gain so much from. 🥰

At our Discovery Tots classes, not only will you and your baby find a wide range of fun activities, specially designed to support their development, but also the opportunity for those little ones to start making connections with other babies of a similar age too. In fact, at their first few classes they are likely to find the other babies more fascinating than anything else, which is always lovely to watch!

Did you know that when we cuddle for 20 seconds or more, the feel-good hormone oxytocin is released. This creates a stronger bond and connection between the huggers - plus oxytocin has been shown to boost the immune system and reduce stress too!

We never need an excuse to cuddle our little ones do we? Grab them and give them a big hug, after all a 20 second cuddle a day really can keep the stress away! 🥰

Tots Play, Totsy and Me.

Hi I’m Lynn, I live with my husband and two daughters, Evie and Sophie, near Cannock. I run classes in the Lichfield/Cannock area. I am a qualified primary teacher with over 12 years of early years education experience, but after the birth of my first daughter, I realised that I would like a more family friendly career that still allows me to use all my experience and expertise in working with young children. I always enjoyed the challenge of planning different activities for young children as I love seeing their faces as they explore and discover something new, so when I learnt about Tots Play I knew I’d found the answer I was looking for.

As a first time mum, I found attending different classes invaluable, especially in the beginning, with creating a special bond, making new friends and giving me ideas of things to do at home that would stimulate and excite my new baby daughter. As Evie has grown up, I know that the experiences I gave her when she was so young have helped her become a happy, confident and intelligent little girl. She is now always looking for things to include in the different sensory collections we use in our sessions and I get extra mummy points when she can help me make some of the resources. Second time around, I love that I have the opportunity to share the amazing techniques and ideas with my new baby daughter, Sophie. It has definitely given me more confidence and I know that she will really benefit from everything that I do with her. Best of all her big sister and my husband can join in too.

I am so excited to bring Tots Play classes to Lichfield and Cannock as it is the perfect mix of all the things parents, babies and toddlers enjoy and benefit from. The programme offers classes suitable from birth up to 2.5/3 years of age, so there is a lot to choose from. I have been running classes for 5 years now and am passionate about what I do, and strive to make every class special and use all my experiences as a teacher and a mother to help and support the parents, babies and tots to learn, develop and have fun together. I feel so privileged to have been involved with so many families. It’s been wonderful to watch tiny babies grow and develop through our baby development course and Discovery Tots classes, into confident, fun loving toddlers at Social Tots and know that I have played a part in their development.
