Conducti
ve Education is based on human potential; meaning everyone has the ability to learn and achieve. Bend & Step focus on what the service user can do, rather than what they feel they 'cannot do'. Conductors are trained to observe this potential in a person; to ensure they can create a structured programme to enable success. Conductive Education combines education, psychology and medical science and considers all aspects of the person simultaneously. Bend & Step aims to maximise active participation and independence of an individual in all areas of development. A main part of the sessions are helping to show how conductive education can be transferred and implemented into everyday life situations. An initial consultation will be provided before sessions start. This gives the conductor an idea of your condition and find out what you want to achieve out of the sessions. It also gives the service user a chance to ask any questions and find out more. Each session will be structured to the service users aims and requirements. Sessions are provided within the service users home to ensure skills are transferable to their everyday life situations. If you would like more information please contact us via
