Seems bonkers to be saying it, but May’s course is now filled with another glorious cohort of expectant parents!

I have limited space on June, and July/August is also filling up so if you’ve a friend who’s just announced that they’re pregnant give them a nudge in my direction 😉

🤱 B R E A S T…… E V E R Y T H I N G! 🤱

I’ve recently been thinking of the best way to describe breastfeeding to people and decided it needs a rebrand! 🤭

To your baby, you are everything! Trying not to over complicate things (where possible) is a great start. Let the “boob buffet” be fully open, lots of skin to skin, frequently allowing them access to the breast so they can stimulate milk production and your prolactin hormone.

They will be learning with you, so be patient, practice absolutely nailing the latch and remember to encourage your baby to remain awake. Allow them to stay at the breast until they unlatch on their own, without need to unlatch.

To your baby, it isn’t just breastfeeding it is BREAST…

~snicky snacking
~comforting
~help me sleep
~help me p**p
~help my pain
~help me trump
~stimulate supply ready for a growth spurt
~help me settle
~help me feel safe
~everything ✨

Ticking of the pregnancy to do list can feel a bit overwhelming and lots of people put off organising their place on an antenatal class until it’s too late! 😬

I’ve had lots of enquiries recently that I’ve sadly not been able to accommodate, so please don’t leave it too late ⏰

I’m taking bookings from May onwards, and have had people due in August/September pencilling their names in for June’s course (I’ve no July course due to holiday ✈️) so it’s filling fast 💨

The next three months of Midwife-led, private antenatal courses are fully booked, and I can't wait to meet our wonderful couples! 🤰🏼

Bookings are now being taken for May and June, and because groups are small (part of the charm, I think!) please do get in touch to secure your place, & avoid disappointment 👌🏼

Classes are designed to give expectant parents the tools and knowledge to feel prepared as you embark on this amazing journey.

Led by a practicing Midwife, and Mum too so our information is current, honest, and practical... but with zero preaching! 🙌🏼

The Cake Shed is re-opening this Friday!! It will then remain open daily for the foreseeable!

The cake shed is open:
* Monday to Saturday 9am - 5pm
* Sundays 10am - 4pm

There'll be sprinkle sponge, brownies, blondies, cookies and more! Will share more later this week!!

So come get your first cake fix of 2026!! 🖤
