Limavady Initiative for the Prevention of Suicide

Thank you to everyone who came along to the glass art class hosted at The Crafters on Main and led by Eleanor-Jane. Those in attendance were able to make tea light holders, free of charge. Our intention at LIPS was to help ease any mental or emotional health issues and to give adults a space to socialise by bringing people together to enjoy a creative outlet in a stress free environment. Please do not underestimate the importance of taking care of your mental health at any time.

This class was able to happen thanks to the Social Connections Fund from Causeway Coast and Glens Council.

A few weeks ago we attended the freshers fair at their Limavady campus. Was fantastic to talk to many students about the importance of mental health and reaching out for help whenever they need it.

A massive thank you to Karen from Limavady Hen Shed for inviting our charity along to be present for their End Violence Against Women & Girls event at the Roe Valley Arts and Cultural Centre. We thoroughly enjoyed listening to the speakers and it was great to connect with other women from our community.
