🎅✨ It’s almost that time again! ✨🎅
Monson will be holding our annual Christmas Light Switch-On on Wednesday 3rd December 🎄
We’re excited to be joined by some very special guests — the Mayor of Lincoln and our favourite festive ponies, Joe and Buggs from Rainbow Dreaming CIC! 🐴💫
There’ll be mince pies and mulled wine to keep everyone warm and merry 🍷🥧
We can’t wait to celebrate the start of the festive season with you all! 💛

This afternoon, the residents took part in one of their favourite activities – balloon tennis! 🎾🎈
There was plenty of laughter, smiles, and friendly competition all around. 😄👏💛

Yesterday, the residents enjoyed a fun game of Beetle Drive! 🎲
There were lots of laughs, a bit of friendly competition, and some lovely artwork.
A lovely way to spend the afternoon together.

Yesterday was a busy (and fun!) day at Monson 💛
Whilst some of our residents were getting their feet pampered by the visiting chiropodist 🦶, others were flapping into action with a lively game of bird bingo 🐦🎉
Plenty of laughter and a few cheeky “tweet” jokes along the way! 😄

This morning, our residents had great fun playing a lively game of noodle hockey! 🏒
In between matches, they enjoyed a game of catch and throw through the hoop — which got higher and higher each round! 🎯👏
Lots of laughter and friendly competition all round! 😊

This evening, to celebrate Bonfire Night, some of our residents braved the cooler weather to enjoy holding sparklers! 🎆✨
Many shared memories of doing the same as children — making their names in the air and reliving that magical feeling. ❤️
We finished the evening with proper Bonfire Night food: baked potatoes, mushy peas and mint sauce… yum! 🥔😋🔥

This afternoon, we welcomed back Ian from Lincoln City Foundation, who came along with his bag of seated games! 🎲
The residents really enjoyed taking part in the different activities and things got quite competitive during the final game — bowls! 🎳😄

This morning, some of our residents enjoyed colouring fireworks ready for Bonfire Night tomorrow 🎆 — a great way to get creative and keep those fine motor skills active.
Meanwhile, one of our lovely ladies gave Ralph Rabbit a good brush to help with his moulting 🐰💖 — a calming and rewarding activity that’s wonderful for wellbeing and connection.

Our poppy decorations are now proudly up, ready for Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day ❤️🌺
We’re looking forward to welcoming Sue from St.peter At Gowts Church on Armistice Day, who will be joining us to lead our monthly church service.
Residents will also be taking part in some special remembrance crafts to honour those who gave their lives for our freedom.
Our service will commence at 2pm, all welcome 🥰🇬🇧🕊️
