Big News from Axholme Signs & Tasker and Co.

As many of you know, I took over Axholme Signs a few years ago and have been running it alongside my other business, Tasker and Co. It’s been a rewarding journey — and now, it’s time for the next chapter.

🛠️ We’re merging the two businesses under one name: Axholme’s.
This change will help us streamline operations and keep rising costs from being passed on to our customers — something that’s incredibly important to us.

💬 What’s changing?
• From April 2026 (the new financial year), all stencil and canvas work will be created and invoiced under the Axholme’s name.
• We’ll continue to use two pages:
• Military Stencils by Axholme Signs
• Canvas by Axholme’s (replacing the Tasker and Co. page)
• Our name and website will gradually update — but our commitment to quality, service, and communication remains exactly the same.

This isn’t happening overnight, and we’ll keep you updated every step of the way. We believe in transparency and want to keep the rumour mill at bay — so if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your continued support — it means the world.

The one pictured is in classic khaki, but we can tailor yours to suit your preferences.

Available in:

• British dark olive green
• Classic khaki
• Or tan, if that’s more your style

Custom Jeep Cover — Built to Travel🚙🧵

This month we’ve been working closely with one of our brilliant customers to create a bespoke Jeep cover — designed specifically for transporting their vehicle on a trailer.

Fed up with flapping sheets, fiddly straps, and the general faff of it all, they came to us with a wishlist… and with a bit of teamwork (and help from my partner!), we brought it to life.

✨ The result? A multi-use Jeep cover that’s as practical as it is adaptable.

Whether you want:
- Just the rear seat covered
- Access to the driver’s seat only
- Or both front seats accessible
We can tailor it to suit your needs.

Available in:
- British dark olive green
- Classic khaki
- Or tan (if that’s more your style)

If you’re interested in having one made, drop us a message — we’ll chat through your requirements and price it up accordingly.

📝 Note: The images showing the rolled-up front seat access are from our first prototype. The fixings have since been updated, but the function remains the same

Only earlier this week we posted about the Bedford aero screen roof heading back to its owner…

Now, here’s a look at the side doors we made for the same vehicle!

There’s never a dull moment in the workshop — especially when working on British wartime vehicles. Many of them were coach-built, which means no two are ever quite the same. That’s part of the challenge — and the fun!

Every detail matters, and we love bringing these historic machines back to life, one custom-made part at a time.

Never a dull moment in the workshop!

Among the many projects we’ve had on recently, we also made a set of mortar carrier rear seat pads. Just another example of the variety of work that comes through our doors.

From full restorations to one-off pieces — we love the challenge and the history behind each job.

Got something in mind? Big or small, we’re always happy to help.

It’s not all big projects in the workshop…

While we’ve always got larger restorations on the go, there are plenty of smaller jobs happening in the background too.

Last week, for example, we stitched a new collar onto a customer’s jacket and replaced the leather on a set of braces.

No job is too big or too small — if we can help, we will.

Got something that needs a little attention? Drop us a message!

There’s nothing like bringing a set of Bedford door screens back to life!

These were definitely in need of a rework — and we think the photos speak for themselves.

We spent time cleaning down the frames, replacing the machine screws and nuts, and giving them the attention they deserved. They now look like they’ve just rolled off the production line!

To top it off, we even created a custom storage bag to protect the PVC panels when not in use.

Got something that needs a second chance? Big or small, we’re always happy to take a look — just get in touch!

It’s not always all work in the workshop… sometimes we just get creative!

Last week, during a bit of downtime, we put together a one-of-a-kind handbag — made entirely from leftover materials (except the zips!).

With a spark of inspiration, a few scraps from the offcut bin, and a bit of help from Axholme Sign’s new laser , a bag was born… all in a dinner break!

Because let’s be honest — a woman can never have too many bags, right?

It’s not all about canvas at Tasker & Co!

Last week, we had the pleasure of working on a vintage jacket for a customer — a piece full of history and sentiment.

The fabric was dry and in need of a little TLC, so we carefully restored it to ensure it could be worn once again, just like his father did for many years.

Whether it’s repairs, restorations, or reproductions — we’re here to help breathe new life into your cherished items.
