📚 GCSE Foundation Maths Exam Prep

If your child is sitting their GCSEs this summer, you may already be thinking about how best to support them during this important (and often stressful) time.

With almost 15 years of experience in education, I provide friendly, focused tuition to help students build confidence and walk into their maths exam feeling fully prepared. 💪

We've had a busy and rewarding week! 😊

🍴 At the beginning of the week we were at YMCA Lincolnshire for the final session of Food for Sharing with the group. Everyone cooked delicious Chinese-inspired dishes that they enjoyed eating together at the end of the session.
🍞Mid-week we were travelling across the county. We made leek and potato soup and fresh bread rolls at Harrowby C of E Primary School before heading to Hawthorn Tree Primary School for a session of meeting and engaging parents in the playground.
💚 Our tutor Kirsty has been travelling to private tuition sessions this week, helping students with their education and supporting individuals with their learning.

We hope that everyone has a wonderful Easter weekend! 🐰🐣

At the beginning of the week we were at The Showroom at Lincolnshire for the last session of Food for Sharing with the group. On the menu this week the group cooked Chinese inspired dishes including chicken Hong Kong style and chicken chow mein. 🍴🍜

At the end of the session everyone had the opportunity to sit together and eat and eat together. It was wonderful to see everyone sharing the experience of cooking together and trying what they'd made. 💚☺️

Last Tuesday we were at Lincolnshire Communities St Giles for our last session of Food for Sharing with the group. We finished off this course running with something sweet! The group made strawberry cheesecake followed by Victoria sponge cake. 🍓🍰

It was great to meet a lovely group of people and we hope that everyone who joined us enjoyed socialising in the community whilst making dishes together. 😊🍴

What a busy and rewarding week it’s been for our team! 🌟

We kicked things off on Monday at YMCA Lincolnshire The Showroom with another fantastic session of our Food for Sharing Adult Learning course. 🍲 The group got stuck in making delicious homemade soup and freshly baked bread rolls. The perfect combination. 😊

Tuesday kept us busy as we headed to Ymca Lincolnshire Communities St Giles Community Centre for more Food for Sharing fun. 🥖 In the evening, we swapped desserts for dough as we joined Bassingham Brownies for a creative pasta making session. 🍝 The imagination and enthusiasm in the room was amazing to see. 😊

On Wednesday, Andy spent time with parents atGainsborough Parish Church C.E. Primary School as part of our Get Cooking Adult Learning course. 👩‍🍳 It’s always great to see confidence growing in the kitchen. ✨

By Friday, Andy was back again, this time at Harrowby C of E Primary School , continuing to support parents through our Adult Learning sessions. 🙌 Building skills, sharing knowledge, and having plenty of fun along the way.

And of course, throughout the week, our wonderful tutor Kirsty has been out and about across the county, delivering 1:1 sessions and making a real difference to the individuals she supports. 💛

On Tuesday evening, we had the pleasure of spending time with Bassingham Brownies and Guides for a fun-filled pasta making session. 🍝✨

The room was full of creativity and laughter as everyone got hands-on, shaping and crafting their own unique pasta. 🎨 From classic twists to wonderfully imaginative designs, the results were fantastic to see! 👏

It was lovely to watch everyone try something new and take pride in what they created. We hope all of the children who joined us enjoyed the evening as much as we did. What a great session it was! 💛😊

We're at YMCA Lincolnshire Showroom for another session of Food for Sharing as part of our Adult Learning funded courses. Today the group are making fresh bread rolls accompanied by a homemade soup of choice from either leek and potato or minestrone. 🥣🥔🧅🍅

What a week it’s been, filled with good food, great conversations, and plenty of community spirit.

Monday set the tone beautifully. We spent the day at YMCA Lincolnshire The Showroom for the very first Food for Sharing session, where the group cooked fresh pasta and a vibrant homemade tomato sauce. 🍝🍅
Tuesday took us back to St Giles Community Centre with Ymca Lincolnshire Communities for session two of Food for Sharing. Andy guided everyone through making a hearty chilli and a comforting lasagna. 🍴
Mid‑week brought us to Gainsborough Parish Church C.E. Primary School where we connected with parents and invited them to sign up for Get Cooking, one of our Adult Learning courses. 🏫
Throughout the week, our dedicated tutor Kirsty has been out and about, delivering 1:1 tuition sessions and supporting her learners with care and commitment. 📚
It's been another busy week in our community and we’re loving every moment of it. 💚

On Tuesday we were back at YMCA Lincolnshire St Giles Community Centre for our second session of Food for Sharing. 🍝

The group made chilli and lasagna this week, which smelt and looked incredible! We hope that everyone who joined us enjoyed taking home their food and sharing it with their families. ☺️
