Dermal filler treatment shouldn't equate to looking unnatural and the TEOSYAL range are fantastic for ensuring you still look like you, only better.

There are lots of dermal fillers on the market but these are one of the tried and tested high quality brands that can be relied upon for their safety and efficacy. I'm loving their RHA range, designed to meet the specific requirements of mobile facial areas to keep results looking incredibly natural.

Sadly, once again, I am having to temporarily close DC Aesthetics as we move into tier 4. This is a frustrating end to a very difficult year for all of us and which has personally only been made easier by the much appreciated support and understanding of all my wonderful patients - thank you so much!

For everyone that has an appointment booked over the next couple of weeks, I will be contacting each of you to offer provisional alternative dates and, fingers crossed, I will see you all soon!

Wishing you all a Happy New Year and better things to come ❤

I will be back in clinic from 3rd December with rigorous infection control procedures in place as usual. If you had your appointment cancelled due to the current lockdown and haven't managed to rebook yet, I will contact you over the next few days to rearrange.

Any current or new patients wanting an appointment before Christmas, please do get in touch as I only have a few December appointments left.

Looking forward to seeing you!!

Well, I guess it was going to happen sooner or later!! Frustrating but necessary, I will be temporarily closing DC Aesthetics on Government directive until (all being well) the 2nd December.

If I haven’t managed to fit you in before I close, please accept my apologies, I will be in contact soon to rearrange your appointment for when I reopen.

Meanwhile, please do get in touch if you have any queries or if you want to order any skin products for home delivery.

*JULY UPDATE*

I am so sad to tell you that despite my plans to reopen my clinic this coming week, I have just received the news that a government announcement late yesterday stated that all premises offering aesthetic treatments must remain closed.

The new legislation is very vague and is aimed mainly at beauty salons and spas. However, it does list aesthetics but not medical aesthetics and this nuance has proven difficult to interpret. As a consequence, to reopen at this point may mean invalidating insurance, risking prosecution and ultimately, jeopardising my nursing registration and your safety.

So, frustratingly, circumstances are totally out of my control and I am in the position of awaiting clarification from governing bodies as to when I can legally reopen - with the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses hoping this will be by Monday 6th July. I can only apologise hugely to all my patients for the late notice and any inconvenience this has caused. I will be contacting all those with appointments this coming week shortly and can reassure that anyone with a cancelled appointment will be given priority when I have a definitive opening date.

Meanwhile, thank you for your unwavering support and patience.

The recent government guidelines regarding social distancing measures mean I cannot safely continue to practise face to face with my patients due to the unnecessary risk this creates. Sadly, this means I have no option but to close DC Aesthetics until advised it is safe to re-open.

I will still be available for advice should anyone wish to contact me with any aesthetic or skin related concerns and please do check my website and page for news, articles and updates.

If you are already registered with me, I will contact you personally when I am able to take starting bookings again.

Kindest regards,

Deborah Crafts RGN INP

Every new patient I see is required to have an initial consultation prior to booking for any aesthetic treatment. Some people query why this is necessary, wanting to skip this step and book directly for treatment without seeing me first.

There are many reasons why a thorough consultation with a qualified medical professional is an integral part of the process when seeking aesthetic injectable treatments but the main reason is patient safety. Without an in-depth consultation, you may be putting yourself at risk!

- Without a consultation, you have no way of knowing if I fully understand the results you would like to achieve or even if I have the required knowledge to successfully perform the treatment. When having any aesthetic treatment, no matter how big or small the procedure may be, it's highly important that you trust me and are fully confident in my abilities. I'll give you plenty of time to discuss your concerns in-depth and what you'd like to achieve from your treatment, in addition to exploring all the suitable options. Importantly, this time also gives you chance to judge my own competence, knowledge and if you feel comfortable for me to treat you.

- As an Independent Nurse Prescriber, a vital step for safe treatment of my patients is to discuss your medical history to ensure you aren't opting for an unsuitable treatment that could put you at risk. Discussing medical history also allows me to tailor the aftercare advice, aswell as pre and post treatment advice, that's best suited to your individual needs.

- Having a separate consultation allows you time for a cooling off period to decide if you'd still like to go ahead with your chosen treatment - no pressure or obligation to continue with any procedure you may not feel ready for.
