You’re not just a number to us. 💫
At The Body Motion Company, every class is small (max 6 people) and physio-led, so you get the support, attention, and guidance your body deserves.

With years of clinical experience and a deep understanding of women’s health, our team helps you move better, feel stronger, and prevent injury - not just in class, but in everyday life.

✨ Why we’re Lincolnshire’s leading studio:
1️⃣ Our classes are designed and delivered by Chartered Physiotherapists, so every movement is safe, purposeful, and effective.
2️⃣ We offer a continuum of care - from injury rehab and postnatal recovery to strength and performance.

Over 60% of UK women have at least one symptom of poor pelvic floor health.
Yet more than half have never done pelvic floor exercises, and 7 in 10 say they’ve never been spoken to about it by anyone in the NHS.
(Source: Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, 2024)

Let that sink in for a moment.

We’re told to look after our heart, our skin, our diet, but very few people talk about our pelvic floor.
The muscles that support your bladder, bowel and womb.
The muscles that carry you through pregnancy, birth, menopause and every stage in between.

So it’s no wonder so many women quietly live with:
💧 Leaking when they sneeze or laugh
⚖️ A heavy feeling “down there”
⏰ Constant urgency to wee
💥 Pain during exercise or intimacy

Here’s the truth:
👉 These are common, but not normal.
👉 They’re often treatable with the right support.
👉 And the earlier you get help, the better your outcomes.

A women’s health physio can assess what’s really going on, teach you how to correctly activate and relax your pelvic floor, and guide you back to feeling confident in your body, whether you’re postnatal, perimenopausal or just noticing subtle changes.

Because your pelvic health isn’t something to put up with, it’s something worth protecting. 💛

"Gayle is absolutely amazing!
She’s supported me through reformer classes and physio at every stage of life - before pregnancy, during, and after (twice!).

Being hyper-mobile, it’s really important to me that I’m guided, corrected, and challenged by a qualified physio, and Gayle does this so well. She makes every class uplifting, fun and tough in the best way. " - Emma D.

Pregnancy changes your body in incredible ways, including your joints. 🤰

Hormones like relaxin and oestrogen soften ligaments and make your joints more mobile, especially around your pelvis. It’s your body’s natural way of preparing for birth.

But greater flexibility can also lead to instability, pain or weakness in your hips, pelvis or lower back.

That’s where seeing a women’s health physio can make a big difference.
✨ They’ll assess how your body is adapting
✨ Help you strengthen safely
✨ Support alignment and posture as your bump grows

Whether you’re pregnant or newly postpartum, a physio can help you move confidently and reduce discomfort, so you can focus on you and your baby. 💛

That’s where Sports Massage comes in.

With Holly, your session is completely personalised. She’ll begin with a thorough assessment of your posture, range of movement, and areas of tension. From there, she’ll use a combination of techniques such as:

How to protect your pelvic floor in pregnancy 🌸

Your pelvic floor is working harder than ever during pregnancy supporting your bladder, bowel and growing uterus. Without the right care, it can become weakened, leading to leaking, heaviness or discomfort both during pregnancy and after birth.

Here are 3 simple ways to protect it:
✨ Connect & release — it’s not just about squeezing; learning how to relax your pelvic floor is just as important.
✨ Breathe well — deep breathing reduces pressure and helps your pelvic floor work with your core.
✨ Move smart — small tweaks like exhaling when you lift can ease unnecessary strain.

Looking after your pelvic floor now can make recovery smoother and help you feel stronger long term. 🤍

If you’re not sure where to start, our women’s health physios are here to guide you.

💭 “1 in 3 mums experience bladder leaks after birth, but most don’t realise there’s help available.”

Your postpartum recovery starts with your pelvic floor, the group of muscles that support your bladder, bowel and uterus.

After birth, these muscles are stretched and weakened, and for some mums, they can even be overactive and unable to relax. Both need specialist care.

Research shows that issues like leaking, back pain, tummy gaps, prolapse and sexual dysfunction are far more common than we talk about, but here’s the truth: you don’t have to put up with it.

At your first appointment with a Women’s Health Physio, you can expect:
✨ A full postural and core screen
✨ A gentle, thorough pelvic floor and abdominal assessment
✨ Clear answers about what’s going on in your body
✨ Bespoke advice and a tailored rehab plan to support your goals

Whether you’re 8 weeks, 8 months or 8 years postpartum, it’s never too late to start your recovery. Every mother deserves to feel strong, confident and supported in her body again. 💙
