Back in April, we shared that we’re moving towards more localised pages so you can stay closer to the people and stories that matter most.

We’re excited to announce that the next batch of care home pages are now live! 🎉

Bringing the seaside to Foxby Court 🏖️

Earlier this month, we hosted our annual beach day right here at the home — complete with sand, sun and plenty of seaside fun.

With fish and chips from local favourite Cox’s, paddling pools filled with sand and water for dipping toes, and classic arcade games like a slot machine and grabber, residents were fully immersed in the beach experience. We even had a visit from the ice cream van to top off the day.

A big thank you to everyone who helped bring the holiday vibes to us. It was a day full of smiles, laughter and plenty of sprinkles.

A beautiful gesture and blooming joy at Foxby Court 🌸

Earlier this week, we received a thoughtful call from a kind-hearted member of the public offering their wedding flowers to the home.

Our residents loved getting hands-on with some flower arranging, carefully separating the blooms and displaying them in vases across the dining tables.

It was a lovely activity made even more special by the generosity of the couple. A huge thank you for thinking of us and sharing a piece of your special day.

A fond farewell to Brenda, ending on a high note 💐

After recently celebrating an incredible 45 years of service at Foxby Court, the team came together once again to wish our much loved Senior Carer, Brenda Broadberry, a happy and well deserved retirement.

The send off was full of joy and appreciation, with live music from Jeremy, beautiful food prepared by our chef, and a room full of residents and colleagues who will miss her dearly.

Brenda has been an irreplaceable part of the home, and while we are sad to see her go, we are so proud to have celebrated this milestone with her. She ends her journey at Foxby Court on a true high, surrounded by love and laughter.
