Yesterday, we exhibited at the Lincolnshire Farming Conference, hosted by Lincolnshire Showground

We support people from all walks of life, and the conference gives us an incredible opportunity to spend time with our local farming community and other local associated organisations.

We spent time speaking with farmers who have spent decades in the industry, opening up about using alcohol as a way to cope with the pressures of rural life. We also met a number of Young Farmers, eager to understand the real harms of drugs and alcohol and how to look after their friends.

It was also great to catch up with the amazing team at Lincolnshire Rural Support Network to discuss how we can join forces to support our rural community.

Today, a new drug and alcohol support service launches in North East Lincolnshire.

North East Lincolnshire Council has appointed the partnership of , and Framework Charity to deliver free and confidential services for adults and young people who would like support with their drug and alcohol use.

We were delighted to welcome England’s Chief Medical Officer, Professor Sir Chris Whitty, to our Grantham hub last week.

He spoke with the team about the ways in which we are reaching some of the most vulnerable and isolated people in our local communities, including our work alongside local hospitals, criminal justice services, healthcare providers and the outreach services we provide.

Last week, we invited local organisations and partners to visit our newly refurbished Spalding hub.

Our guests enjoyed tours of the building, spoke with teams from across the partnership and got involved with hands-on naloxone training.

It was great to talk to so many local people about what we offer, who we support and the ways we can work more closely together. Thanks to everyone who came along!
