Make a Difference in Your Community – Volunteer as a Befriender (children are welcome to join in)

At The Cottage Care Home, our residents are at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking friendly and compassionate volunteers to spend time with our residents, sharing stories, playing games, doing arts and crafts, gardening, music sessions, or simply enjoying a cup of tea. If you have a few hours to spare each week or month, you can help us combat loneliness and bring joy to someone’s day. No specific qualifications are required, just a willingness to bring positivity, energy and enthusiasm to our residents. (Subject to DBS that will be completed and funded by the home.)

If you would like to volunteer, please come by and meet us (Mon-Fri mornings). For the DBS to be completed, we would need a few forms of ID, 1 photo, 1 proof of address, and another, such as a utility bill, birth certificate, etc.
