Yesterday at Lincoln Manor we celebrated Palm Sunday by having a service with hymns, writing our own prayers on leaves and celebrating the end of lent. Our residents really enjoyed the quiz and we got talking about the different wars which are happening currently around the world and what Jesus would have thought about that!

Yesterday at Lincoln Manor we celebrated St Patricks day with some arts and crafts making leprechaun hats. We also had a Irish quiz and made are own Irish coffees which were a treat!

Here at Lincoln Manor we had a trip out around the local river and lake, we saw the swans and reconnected with nature. We all had a lovely day out! Lots more outings to come as the weather starts to brighten up!

Yesterday here at Lincoln Manor we celebrated St David's Day. We had homemade Welsh cakes, Welsh quiz and arts and crafts. The Residents and staff loved learning new things about Wales and for the couple of our Welsh residents it brought back a lot of memories.

Yesterday at Lincoln Manor we celebrated the Chinese New Year. We had activity packs with lots of puzzles and interesting facts about China, we also had a quiz and then had a delicious Chinese takeaway which was enjoyed by all.

Last Sunday we had Lincoln City Brass Band visited Lincoln Manor, everyone loved the performance and it certainly lifted all of our moods due to the wet weather we have been experiencing recently.

Lincoln Manor had its first Valentines fine dining event yesterday which was a success and enjoyed by all!

Last Sunday we celebrated Lincoln Manor's 1st birthday! We all had a fabulous time and danced the night away. Massive thank you to all the staff, relatives and residents who helped and participated.

Well Done to Mikaela our Care Assistant on January's Employee of the Month.

Mikaela has been recognised by Health Care Professionals, Residents and their Families for showing empathy and compassion, whilst always wearing her smile.

Lincoln Manor has a bake sale on today starting from 10:30am, everyone is welcome and there will be free refreshments. All we ask is for a donation if you part take in having a slice of cake. We look forward to seeing you!

The cakes we have on offer are as follows:

Coffee and walnut cake

Carrot cake

Lemon cake

Also we have a different range of cup cakes and muffins.

Lincoln Manor had their first fine dining experience yesterday evening. Residents and family members had a lovely evening and the food was scrumptious. The event appeared to be a big success. A big thank you to all the staff who helped with this event and a massive thank you to the kitchen staff for all their hard work.
