Kathleen sadly passed away on 9th February 2026, just 6 months short of her 100th birthday. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunty and dear friend. She was a well adored member of the Chiddingstone community for many years and was fondly known as ‘Granny Pocock’ by many. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.

The service will take place on Tuesday 24th March 2026 at 12:00pm at St Mary’s Church in Chiddingstone, followed by the burial in the church yard, where she will reunite with her dear husband John, after 43 years apart. The family ask for colourful clothing to be worn where possible.

Here’s a little look back at where it all began… With our founder, Alex, at just 19, and a small but dedicated team, committed to helping families through their most difficult times.

Whilst the company and the entire profession may have evolved over the past 30 years, our dedication to the families we serve remains steadfast - to provide truly compassionate, professional care, with the dignity and respect we would give to our own families.

We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Carol Bundock. A much loved Wife, Mum, Nan, Auntie, Sister and dear friend who will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

The family warmly invite you to join them in remembering Carol at her Memorial Service on Wednesday 25th March 2026 at 2pm at St Peter and St Paul’s Church, Lingfield. Following the service, you are welcome to join them in continuing the celebrations of Carol’s life at The Star Inn, Church Road, Lingfield, Surrey, RH7 6AH. (If you are parking at The Star Inn car park for either the memorial service or the celebration of life, please enter the pub first and enter your car registration number on the screen by the bar).

Carol loved colour, joy and warmth, so if possible, please avoid wearing black. Brighter colours are encouraged in her honour.

An incredible, independent lady who will be sadly missed by many.

Thank you to all the generous volunteers who helped at St. Peter’s Church in Tandridge, for yesterday’s particularly tragic and heartfelt funeral. With an overwhelming turnout, estimated to be around 900 people, the love and support felt by all was deeply moving. Also to the Revd. James, the Revd. Sue and wonderful Lynne of St Peter’s Church, and the exceptional team at Tunbridge Wells Crematorium. Our thoughts and hearts go out to the families and friends and all those affected by this tragedy.
