We would like to thank the children and staff from Churcher's College Junior School and Nursery for coming in and entertaining our ladies and gents who had a wonderful time. It was another fantastic intergenerational experience.

We had a truly magical afternoon connecting generations through music with a concert involving 9 amazing young musicians from Churcher's College Junior School and Nursery accompanied by their musical director and parents.

Each child gave a solo performance and the instruments they played included the piano, violin, trumpet, flute, cello and voice.

The programme included a delightful mix of musical genres from the Hungarian Dance by Brahms to Never Enough from ‘The Greatest Showman’ by Pasek & Paul.

Connections continued to flow between the young and old as we enjoyed refreshments together afterwards.

In this morning’s word of the day our ladies and gents managed a score of 306, beating last week’s score by 1 point!

After her exercise Jill joined Jean, Janet and Stan on a Myley bus trip to The Phoenix Theatre in Bordon to see the film ‘Save the Cinema’.
