Strength and conditioning for kids, not just for athletes 🏃‍♂️

Now we're not saying your child needs to be in the gym pumping iron everyday, but what we are saying is some dedicated strength work for kids can be really helpful to prevent injuries, overloading and can help them develop more in their chosen sport.

Focusing on strength around their hips and core will give them more stability here and will help protect their ankles, knees and shoulders, allowing them to have that stronger base to kick or throw from.

This patient came to us for a second opinion during his end-stage recovery from major knee surgery. He was back on the pitch but didn’t feel fully confident in his knee yet.

After a thorough assessment and testing, we found a 44% strength deficit in his hamstring on the operated side 😬. We built a robust plan focused on targeted strength work and end-stage return-to-play drills.

The results? 💪 Not only did his operated leg catch up in strength, but his non-operated leg improved too! He’s now back playing with full confidence and moving better than ever.
