Walking is great - but it’s not the full answer after 60.

As we age, muscle strength and balance decline every year - and walking alone doesn’t rebuild them.

That’s why adding chair-based exercises can dramatically reduce fall risk and help you stay independent for longer.

Walk daily - absolutely.
But don’t skip strength.

Turns out - it wasn’t “wear and tear” at all.

Still have lower back pain - even though you stretch every day?
This is one of the biggest frustrations I hear in the clinic… and there’s a simple reason it happens.

Stretching helps, but it doesn’t stabilise your spine.
To really keep back pain away, you need strength - especially in your glutes and core.

That’s where the Glute Bridge comes in:
✔ Activates the muscles that protect your lower back
✔ Supports your spine when standing, walking, and lifting
✔ Reduces that nagging daily ache

Try:
🔹 10-12 reps
🔹 3-second hold at the top

Waking up every morning with a stiff or aching lower back?
You’re definitely not the only one - I hear this every single day in the clinic.

But here’s the good news…
There is a simple fix you can try before you even get out of bed, and it can make your whole morning feel easier.

It’s called the Pelvic Tilt, and it helps:
✔ Gently loosen stiff joints
✔ Switch on your deep core muscles
✔ Reduce that “first-thing-in-the-morning” pain
✔ Make getting out of bed feel so much smoother

Just 10-12 reps with a slow 3-second hold is all you need.

Give it a go tomorrow morning - your back might just say “thank you” 😄
