So happy to have been able to rehome a donated rollator to a member of our community. This lovely lady,(can’t believe is in her 80s!), was in dire need of a sturdy, reliable rollator as her own was broken. This is part of our new recycling project and we are so happy she was able to find a replacement aid to help her better get around the city and to her transportation home. BALMORAL SHOW 2026 – MOBILITY SUPPORT

Do you need mobility equipment to help you get around Balmoral Show?

Mobility Mid Ulster is the lead provider, working alongside Shopmobility Lisburn, to supply mobility scooters and wheelchairs to assist visitors across the large showground. This is our 4th year at the show, with growing demand each year, we encourage you to book early.

 Event dates: Wednesday 13th – Saturday 16th May 2026

Wonderful to host today’s meeting with all the Mobility / Shopmobility schemes across Northern Ireland.

It’s incredible what a difference additional funding can make — from Lisburn once being the lowest-funded project with little hope for the future, to now feeling confident and able to plan ahead.

Today was a valuable opportunity to share ideas, collaborate, and focus on securing continued government funding so we can keep delivering essential services. We also discussed practical ways to make travelling across Northern Ireland easier and more accessible for disabled people.

We’re excited to keep building a more inclusive future in our home city - working alongside other local charities and organisations.
