We have an exciting opportunity for adults who report use of, or have with lived experience of alcohol & drug use, to take part in this research project using Virtual Reality to help shape future service delivery through research.

Participants will need to attend weekly hour long group sessions in person between May and July in the Belfast/Lisburn area.

Please note, that this project is NOT intended to replace any current support services people are receiving; it is an innovative research project to study the feasibility of using VR as part of recovery service provisions in the future.

This is a voluntary opportunity - the contribution and feedback given during this study are vital so you must be willing to engage within the sessions.

If you would like to find out more or put your name down to be included, please contact:

We hope to start this as soon as possible so please get in touch at your earliest convenience to express your interest.

Thank you.

5 of our Year 13 students - Lauren Armstrong, Daniel Connolly, Matthew Doherty, Niamh Hassan and Cathal McGuinness are running the Belfast Marathon relay on Sunday 3rd May. This is a tough challenge and they are raising money for a very worthwhile cause.

Their chosen charity is ASCERT and their aim is to raise at least £750. ASCERT is a charity organisation providing services across Northern Ireland that have been reducing alcohol and drug related harm in our communities since 1998.

ASCERT is committed to ensuring individuals, families, workforces and communities are supported in the most effective way to deal with the challenges they face.
