Today’s treatment focus: Full Retro Fascial Chain Release ✨

My client lives with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND), a condition that can cause involuntary muscle spasms. Over time, these spasms create significant tension, inflammation, and pain throughout her body.

By performing a full Retro Fascial chain release, we worked to gently reduce fascial adhesions and restore tissue mobility. When fascia becomes restricted, it can contribute to increased inflammation, reduced circulation, and ongoing discomfort.

Releasing these restrictions helps to:

🤔 Most of you already know this… but for anyone new around here — when I’m not running (what I proudly claim is 😄) the number one Sports Therapy clinic in Northern Ireland, I’m usually off wearing a very different uniform in the Fire & Rescue Service 🚒 … and I’ve been doing that for almost 25 years now.

People always ask, “Surely you’re going to give up the fire service and do the clinic full time?” The honest answer… Not a chance!
I love the mix - One day I’m fixing sore shoulders and dodgy knees… the next I’m sliding down poles and answering emergency calls. Keeps life interesting! 👨‍⚕️👨🏻‍🚒

Both roles let me help people in completely different ways — and I feel incredibly lucky to be able to do work that genuinely matters on both fronts. I wouldn’t trade that balance for anything.

A massive thank you to everyone I get the pleasure of working with, rescuing, and helping — you make both jobs so rewarding, and I appreciate the trust, laughs, and support more than you know.
