🎶 Mum & Baby Ukulele Club - Register Your Interest! 🎶 Lisburn Area

Do you know how beneficial it is to expose your baby to music from birth? 💕 In my day job, as a Speech and Language Therapist, I use the ukulele every day in my sessions, it’s such a fun and powerful way to support communication, bonding and early development! 🎵👶

I’m exploring the idea of a Mum & Baby Ukulele Club, likely a 4-week daytime course (1 hour each week). You’ll enjoy a coffee and bun after each session, a chance to chat with other mums and learn a few easy chords so you can play lots of songs and rhymes with your little one at home! ☕🍰🎸

What a fantastic opportunity ✈️🌍✈️🌎

Belfast City Airport has hosted a special ‘Autism in the Air’ event, offering 17 children with autism and their families the opportunity to experience the full airport journey, including a flight across Belfast.

In partnership with Queen’s University Belfast, the initiative helps children become familiar with the airport environment, making future travel more accessible and stress-free.

Guys, many of you will know, along side providing Speech and Language Therapy Services to children and families throughout Northern Ireland, I also run 3 community Ukulele Groups.

Over the last couple of years these groups have raised and donated over 8k for local Charaties. This Christmas we are aiming to raise £1000 for B Positive. A local charity supporting children with Blood Cancer.

We are giving away 2 ukuleles to 2 lucky people. An Octopus ukulele and a Brunswick concert size suitable for adults and kids, beginners and intermediate players. Pronouns can be tricky for kids because they are pretty abstract. They also may change depending on who is talking. This is why it may be surprising that “I” and “you” are some of the first pronouns kids are able to master!
