Unhelpful Thoughts
I often hear these words when I am working with people with chronic pain, fatigue and anxiety.
Thoughts are a signal to the nervous system and brain that we are under threat, which can then create more pain, fatigue and anxiety as a protector factor. It’s a vicious cycle 😩
A lot of the time, we are unconscious of how many unhelpful thoughts are going around in our heads daily, which only adds to more of our energy being drained.
Daily regulation practices help to soothe the mind, slow down the thoughts and gives us time to pause and reset.
