✨CHOOSE YOUR HARD✨

Losing weight is difficult. Fact.

However, feeling unhealthy, tired, depressed and unhappy with your body is even harder. Fact.

Do you want to continue avoiding and missing out on life, or do you want be a participant and live life to the max?

Which hard are you going to choose today?

The hard that is saying ‘no’ to the foods that you continue to crave, as you continue to make the wrong decision by eating them. Turn it around today, not tomorrow. Start to finally feel good about yourself as you begin to learn or relearn to flex those will power muscles.

Or

Continuing to eat what you want, when you want, because you are stressed or eating your own feelings. Ask yourself, does that help make you feel better? No. it never does. We all know it just makes you feel worse.

When will your food party end? Do you really need to ‘treat’ yourself to foods that harm you. When is a ‘treat’ not a treat? When it causes harm to your body and mood. Something thats adds excess fat and causes a post slump is not a treat to you or your body!

So, choose the hard that actually makes a difference and that starts to make you feel better about you!

Choose to stick to plan, and say no to the food and drinks that are not your health and weight loss friends.

For those of you who are planning on coming off plan for special events through the festive system, here are a few tricks to keep feeling your best when things are so crazy.

✨ Drinks: limit them, and stick to spirits with low calorie mixers or soda water. Keep away from cocktails, as they can be equivalent in cals and carbs as donuts! Also avoid Beer, cider and if you drink wine made it a spritzer wth soda water and ice!

✨Balance is key, stop making it all or nothing!

December!

December can be VERY tricky if you’re following a diet plan.

The best advice I can offer is to simply do the best you can do, while being kind to yourself.

When I say be kind to yourself, I’m not suggesting that you give yourself permission to eat anything and everything!

Quite the opposite.

I’m suggesting treating your body with the respect it deserves.

Being kind to yourself is eating foods that are high in nutritional value, that nourish your mind, body and soul instead of diminishing them. Making you FEEL better.

So when you’re surrounded by all those tempting foods and drinks, please remember, your real friends are water, lots and lots of it, along with real foods, the protein and veggies as listed in your Step 2 and 3 lists, and of course your 1:1 products that are nutritionally balanced, and help you stay full.

These are the foods that will love you back. The alcohol, the carby, surgary, fatty and fried food, just make you feel bad when eaten in large quantities, so try your best to stay clear of too much foods that don’t help you to feel good. These can be fitted into a balanced diet though, there’s no such thing as ‘good’ or ‘bad’ foods. Just foods that are quite on plan and what you WANT.

✨ Minimum 2.25 litres of water per day - water is you secret weapon - the more you drink the better you feel!

✨ Just 3-4 short days of sticking to plan 100% and stabilise your blood sugars again, you will be feeling back in control, no longer bloated and back in the zone. 3 days to feeling good again. You can turn this around, know that you have the power.

✨ Get moving. Something as easy, free and simple as 30 mins a day of walking can make a huge different to your physical and mental health. Make time for it, even if in 2 blocks of 15 mins. Every step counts.

✨Make a plan/plan ahead by booking your next consultation now, or book that restart or initial consultation. Keep doing the best you can.

Christmas is FAST approaching, which can bring with it immense pressure. If you are overweight and feeling frustrated with your size the thought of feeling unhappy with how you look at Christmas is enough to drive you to the biscuit tin rather than your 1:1 Diet Steps plan.

It is VERY COMMON for people who feel stressed out about their weight to eat more. The pressure to lose those pounds can make us feel overwhelmed and do ourselves more damage. It can be a vicious circle and make us feel out of control and helpless. If you feel like this, then take some time out to do something different so you can take control and feel empowered and motivated.

🎄What do you want to be wearing?
🎄How do you want to be feeling?

Create your vision of something that is really special to you; a vision that gives you that little butterfly feeling of excitement in your tummy. Everyone’s vision will be unique to them. Get clear on your vision. If you can create a vision board and look at everyday this will help you to stay focused on your goal.
