Spring has arrived at Pentiddy Natural Burial ground! The native daffodils and primroses are in flower, Jessie has been cutting the colourful willows near the roundhouse for coffin making and the bird song is stunning!

On the 12th of May we will be hosting an event for Hospice UK's Dying Matters Awareness Week (https://www.hospiceuk.org/our-campaigns/dying-matters/dying-matters-awareness-week) . This will be an opportunity to hear about Pentiddy's ethos and how we run the site. There will also be funeral directors and celebrants on hand to answer your questions and a Death Cafe in the roundhouse - a supported space to talk about all aspects of death, dying and grief in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with tea and cake!

It will also be an opportunity to see one of Jessie Carr's (Cornish Willow Coffins) gorgeous coffins made in Pensilva, Ele's wool shrouds made at Pentiddy itself and Sian's (Pottery & Posies.) completely natural, foraged floral tributes.
