Lymphatic kinesio taping is a gentle and natural way to help your body reduce swelling and fluid retention.
How it works:
The tape is cut into thin strips and applied in a fan shape towards the lymph nodes. It gently lifts the skin, reduces pressure on the lymphatic vessels, and creates better conditions for lymph flow. It doesn’t “push” lymph forcefully — it supports your body’s natural drainage process.
Areas where it works best:
✔ legs
✔ arms
✔ abdomen
✔ neck & upper back (shoulder / “hump” area)
✔ face & chin
When it’s especially helpful:
— to extend and enhance the effects of a massage session
— after long periods of sitting or flights
— if you’re prone to swelling
— when you feel heaviness or fluid retention in the body
— during periods when you want to support recovery and lymphatic flow
Important:
Taping works much better when you move after the session (walking, light activity) and drink enough water. Movement significantly enhances lymphatic flow.
How long to wear it:
— on average up to 3 days
— you can shower with it
— the tape works 24/7
Lymphatic kinesio taping techniques are available in my massage studio after your massage session. It’s a great way to extend the results of the treatment and support your body’s recovery 🤍
