Do you use intermittent catheters? If so what has your experience been like?

In this blog, Michell Moffatt talks about her experience of finding a catheter that provided her with comfort and confidence, removing anxiety over catheter-related UTIs and allowing the freedom to live life on her own terms.

This September, for , we’re proud to celebrate our partnership with WheelPower and our involvement in the Inter Spinal Unit Games at Stoke Mandeville Stadium, the birthplace of the Paralympic Movement.

Over 100 patients and 60 support staff from 14 Spinal Injury Centres across the UK came together for a week of sport, discovery, and empowerment.

From archery to wheelchair rugby, swimming to fencing, the Games offer a life-changing introduction to the power of sport in rehabilitation and recovery. For many, it was their first experience outside of hospital since injury.

We were thrilled to support the Middlesbrough Sports Festival, an inclusive event hosted by WheelPower where people with physical disabilities could discover new sports in a safe, welcoming environment.

With inspiring guests like Paralympians Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson and Anna Nicholson, and accessibility advocate Andy McDonald MP, the day was filled with energy, encouragement and empowerment.
