Angmering music and memory café launch - free event at St St Margaret's Church Hall
Thursday, 15th of January 10am to 12pm

Join us at St Margaret’s Church Hall for the launch of our free Dementia Café. It’s a relaxed, friendly space where people living with dementia and their loved ones can come together, meet others, share experiences, and enjoy support over a cup of tea or coffee, with refreshments and cake. Take part in enjoyable activities such as reminiscence sessions, music, arts and crafts, and gentle cognitive stimulation exercises — or simply come along for a chat and good company.
Launch 15th of January at 10am and then every 1st Thursday of the month at 10am to 12pm

What a truly magical way to celebrate Ayton House resident Christmas party! The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter as we gathered to sing carols, with Lorraine wonderfully conducting and leading resident choir. Her enthusiasm was contagious, uplifting everyone’s spirits and creating an infectious sense of togetherness!

Betty on the keyboard, adding a beautiful musical backdrop that complemented the heartfelt singing. We were all treated to a special solo performance by Jenny, Ayton House resident ambassador. Her vocal talent shone brightly, captivating us all and making the moment unforgettable!

The excitement reached new heights when Santa made a surprise appearance, delighting everyone as he distributed lovely presents to all the residents. The smiles and cheers as each gift were opened truly warmed our hearts!

Following the gift distribution, the celebration continued with more singing, and we indulged in an array of delectable foods that delighted our taste buds. It was a wonderful way to foster connections, celebrate the season, and create lasting memories together.

All in all, this was a beautiful celebration that highlighted the spirit of community and togetherness here at Ayton House. We are so grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event such a joyous occasion!

❤️ Season of Giving at Ayton House Care Home ❤️

As we celebrate our first year of being open, we are incredibly proud of the positive impact Ayton House has had on our local community.

Over the past year, our residents, families, and team have come together to support some amazing causes. One of our residents, Jennie, beautifully knitted poppies to raise funds for the British Royal Legion, we hosted an afternoon tea alongside the Angmering South Downs Rotary Club to support The Stroke Association, and our summer Family BBQ a raffle was run to raise funds My University Hospitals Sussex

We’re delighted that all of these funds were matched by Care UK, doubling the difference we were able to make.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported, donated, and took part — this truly reflects the kindness and generosity within Ayton House and our wider community. 💙
