Caring for someone with dementia who is also on blood thinners? Here’s what you need to know:

🔸 Why it matters:
Blood thinners can make even small bumps or bruises more serious—especially if there’s a fall.

🔸 What you can do:
✔️ Keep walkways clear and well-lit
✔️ Use non-slip mats and grab rails
✔️ Encourage slow, steady movement
✔️ Watch for signs of internal bleeding after a fall (e.g., confusion, dizziness, headache)
✔️ Always seek medical advice after a head injury—even if it seems minor
