Free festive thank you meal for colleagues in December

University Hospitals of Liverpool Charity is pleased to offer all staff across each of our sites a £5 voucher for you to use towards a free festive meal as a small gesture of thanks for our hard-working colleagues during the forthcoming festive season.

Voucher collections are to be made from General Office on the site that you’re based at and are available to use until Friday 19 December 2025.

A representative from each department will be required to collect vouchers on behalf of their team, as individual vouchers will not be issued. As vouchers are allocated per department, please ensure that each team representative is familiar with their department name. You can find this on ESR or by asking your line manager.

Bank staff
Bank staff should collect their vouchers from General Office at the site that they are registered at.

Please be mindful that general office on each site is open between the following times:
• Aintree site: 8am-4pm
• Broadgreen: 8.30am-4.30pm
• Royal: 9am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 9am-4pm on Fridays.

For those who do not wish to redeem their voucher, these can be donated back to the charity to support the in-patient gifting and ward decoration programme taking place throughout December. To return your voucher please drop in to the UHL Charity office on ground floor at the Royal or send in internal post to Charity Office, Ground Floor, Royal Liverpool Hospital for attention of Lisa Barber.

**NEW WARD OPENING**
Hello all,
AUH Ward 7 will be opening on the 15th December. It will be a 12 bedded unit in the old surge 2 area supporting patients with a decision to admit who are awaiting side rooms in the hospital.
Any staff who are interested in block booking to contact Matron Samantha Williams with their interest and what hours they can support with.

Brief description of the role: This role is to work with the Clinical Haematology outpatient clinics. To ensure the smooth running of the haematology clinics and to carry out venepuncture if required. To have access to trust systems.
