At Unity Lives we understand the importance of truly person centered support and endeavor to co-create every package with the individual accessing the service and their significant others. We co-create and deliver packages of care for adults of varying needs and complexities and support is tailored to individual needs and in line with care needs assessment. Commissioned support times may vary dependent upon individuals needs, capacity, independence and packages can vary from 2hrs to 24 hours per day. Support is delivered by our Unity teams of senior support and support workers, who are all trained to the highest standards to give exceptional care and support. Unity Lives prides itself on being a smaller organization that maintains a personalized approach and creates environments in which everyone has a voice and contributes.

Unity Lives Bowling Trip March 2026 🎳

We had such a fantastic time on our Unity Lives bowling trip this March. The day was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and lots of memorable moments. Everyone enjoyed taking part in bowling, trying their luck in the arcade, and sitting down together for some great food.

It was especially lovely to see some of the people we support choose to stay a little longer at the end of the day to play pool with staff and keep the fun going. These moments really highlight the strong connections and sense of community we share.

Trips like this are so important to us as they give everyone the chance to try new activities, build confidence, and simply enjoy time together in a relaxed and happy environment.

A big well done to Daniel, one of our staff members, who was our overall bowling winner on the day 🎉👏

And a big thank you to all the staff who helped make days like this possible 🥳

At Unity Lives, we believe emotional wellbeing is just as important as physical support 💛

Emotion trackers are a simple but effective tool that help the people we support check in with how they’re feeling in a way that feels accessible and empowering. By using gentle prompts such as identifying emotions, associating them with colours, noticing where they are felt in the body, or exploring what might help, individuals can build a better understanding of their emotional experiences.
For many people in supported living, emotions can feel overwhelming or difficult to express. Emotion tracking creates a safe space for reflection, communication, and choice. It supports emotional awareness, encourages self-regulation, and helps individuals feel more confident in recognising and responding to their own needs.

This is a technique we have seen work well in practice, supporting independence, self-expression, and emotional resilience. These are all key parts of person-centred support at Unity Lives. ❤️‍🩹
