Hi everyone!
I am doing a research project looking into the Public Perceptions of the Menstrual Cycle.

I have a questionnaire which will take max 5 mins to complete - it would be a massive help if anyone was willing to complete the questionnaire, all answers are anonymous! Thanks so much 😊

Join us for LFMSS's first teaching event of 2023, ‘What can a fetus expect from us in the first 20 weeks’ by Dr Devender Roberts MRCOG MBCHB.

Dr Roberts has expertise in provision of intrapartum care and provision of a tertiary referral service in fetal echocardiography and antenatal detection of congenital heart abnormalities. She has published in fetal medicine, fetal echocardiography and is active in clinical research in preterm premature rupture of membranes as well as fetal echocardiography.

We are delighted to host Dr Roberts as she provides an informative teaching session on pre-term labour, what we look for on 1st and 2nd trimester scans, plus trisomy screening. We have some really exciting news- we are having our first society charity fundraiser! Get your trainers on and get to Sefton Park on Saturday April 30th to get involved in our 5k every hour challenge! The committee is setting up for 12 hours at Sefton, and between us will be running, walking or jogging a 5k every hour starting from 7am. We would love to get as many of you guys to get involved as we can too - you can do as much of the challenge as you'd like - even if it's just an hour! The committee will have a base set up, and hope to provide you guys with some drinks/snacks on the day to thank you for showing up. We'd ask that if you do take part (or if you don't!) that you make a small donation to the justgiving page we've set up (link in our bio). The event is to support Liverpool Women's Charity and The Big Tiny Steps Appeal, who do a lot of good work supporting patient's and their families in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. ⭐️🏃‍♂️⭐️

Self-nominations for Core Committee Positions for 2022/23 are open now!

Self-nominations for President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary are open until Monday 14th March 9am via the Guild website - you'll need to click 'Sign In', then 'Account/Profile' and then 'My Nominations'. Elections then run from Monday 21st March 9am - Friday 25th March 2pm for members. From Monday 14th March - Friday 25th March new member recuitment will be closed as per Guild regulations.

Due to a technical issue, unfortunately only Core Committee roles will be availble in this election cycle (for now!). Sub-committee positions (such as Teaching Reps, Charity Reps, Events Reps, Social Media Reps for 2022/23) will be available for self-nomination and election at a later date. We can't yet confirm when this will be, or if it will be via the Guild or an internal process but don't worry - we will be having an election for these roles!
