Today marks the final journey for our lovely Queen.

While a lot of places have decided to close today dentists have remained open. We are closed, however we have decided we will still provide for emergencies only so if you need a denture repair only please get in touch.

I have a quick 5 mins spare so I’m going to explain a little bit about what we do as we have so many questions asking can we do X Y Z so hopefully this will help a little 🙂
Matt is a dental technician which means he makes dental appliances. He specialises in dentures. He works off a dentists prescription and instruction. The process of a new denture is done over 4 stages. Between Matt and the dentist they make the patient a denture that they are happy with both for comfort and aesthetically. It is illegal for us to make dentures without a dentists prescription, we are not aloud to work in patients mouths meaning we can’t do dental impressions under any circumstances. So that’s what we can’t do.
What we can do however is repair them. This does not require any impressions or a dentists signature. This process can be done quickly meaning you won’t be left without a denture for more than an hour. If your dentures do break please don’t try to repair them yourself using superglue as this won’t work and will result in you needing a new set.
