As 2025 comes to an end, let's have a look back on some of the things we did last year at WelcomeMe.
We certainly had loads of fun and laughter, and lots new friendships were made along the way.

For all different kinds of reasons, people find us, work with us, help and support us. Sometimes it's in person, sometimes it's by donating a bag of glue sticks or chocolates and sometimes it's a financial gift. All these generous ways of supporting us means we can carry on longer helping others to have fun in this moment, at this time, with people who get it.

Would you like to know more about the signs of dementia and what to do if you are worried? Super Sandy and I will be at the Countess of Chester tomorrow, Monday 3rd November to offer help and advice. We will be just past the main entrance between 9.30-4pm. Come and say hello if you are in the neighbourhood. 👋🏻

Autumn has arrived at WelcomeMe
We made some gorgeous lanterns using the beautiful leaves that have fallen recently.

Even more good news! The wonderful Cameron has organised it so that we are the beneficiaries of the fundraising activities in Costa Coffee Heswall! If you are out shopping why not pop in to see if you could bag yourself a free drink/snack and raise money for us while you are at it? ☺️🫖☕🍪

***Update! Nathan raised £420 for our groups. We are so grateful for all his efforts!! ***

We are lucky to be supported by lots of family members who recognise the great things we get up to and the benefits that go with them.
This is Nathan and his Nan and Grandad have been coming to Welcome Me for over 3 years! He gathered sponsors to raise money for us when he ran in the Chester marathon this weekend. He did it in 4 hours and 6 minutes!! 😳
Thank you Nathan, you did yourself and us proud 😇

We have all had a great time turning our wall tree into a lovely autumnal tree here at WelcomeMe.

A fantastic joint effort by all 3 groups, working together to create a beautiful mural for us to enjoy.
The final result is amazing.
