Due to my chronic illnesses flaring up massively as I have a viral infection/ potentially Covid - I am taking a break from Melody’s Magical Scents for a week or two. This is so I can concentrate on getting better and not overly stress over trying to do everything at once for the business.

Today is Mental Health Tuesday here at Melody's Magical Scents.

Our quote for the day is: "You can still be healing and still have hard days."

Healing is not a linear journey, no matter how much we want it to be. Once we start getting better, start feeling better, we think that we should keep feeling better no matter what.

But healing isn't like that. A really good day can just as easily be followed by a really bad one, or even a normal day that doesn't feel as good, and it doesn't mean you've failed in your journey or regressed. That's just life.

What's important is that you keep moving forward, that you keep trying, because one day, you'll be healed, and you'll look back at all that you've overcome with pride.

Self-care starts first with loving yourself, with being yourself unashamedly and unreservedly. Love yourself in every way that you can, in every thing that you do, and don’t let anyone take that away from you.
