Today is World Prematurity Day, an opportunity for us to come together to raise awareness of premature birth 👩‍🍼

Every year, more than 53,000 babies in the UK are born premature (before 37 weeks of pregnancy), making up 38% of babies in specialist Neonatal Intensive Care Units.

At PC24, we know it's important to give our colleagues the best possible support, following the premature birth of their child. That's why we've received the Employer with Heart 2.0 Charter Mark from The Smallest Things charity, due to our extended leave policies and a supported return to work process for parents.

Warm Spaces are open across Sefton this winter 💙

They’re free, safe places where you can stay warm, enjoy a hot drink, and spend time with others.

Community centres, hubs and other venues are offering a warm welcome to anyone who needs it, some even have free Wi-Fi, food, and activities.
