Isn't it wonderful when occasionally something occurs in life that is totally unexpected?
I was honoured earlier this year when asked to become President of Physio First , the organisation that represents private physiotherapists in the UK, but owing to COVID the AGM was cancelled . Therefore it was only last Wednesday that I took up office. To be able to represent the profession I am so proud of is such a honour that I was humbled at the time and no less so now.
I thank those that have put their trust in me enormously.
So here starts a 4 year tenure.

My profession is celebrating 100 years of its Royal Charter and those 100 years have seen the aftermath of two world wars and now this new pandemic. The challenges have been entirely different but by adapting to virtual working and not underestimating the necessity to adapt and remain resilient the standard of care has not been compromised.
Lots of lessons learnt.

Good news . Current healthcare is to continue uninterrupted so although the second lockdown is due to start on Thursday the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy have suggested that we continue with "business as usual" unless we are instructed otherwise.
Naturally all relevant public health rules relating to social distancing and PPE will continue to be followed to keep both clinicians and patients as safe as possible.
If you are anxious re F2F then we are still very happy to help using Zoom, Facebook etc, ....with whichever medium you are happiest.

Over the months the clinic, owing to strict attention to detail and high standards, has successfully managed all the Covid-19 restrictions to ensure a safe and welcoming environment. Your safety and wellbeing have been at the heart of every decision and as a result face-to-face treatment sessions have returned to being "the norm". Naturally if you still prefer help via a video or telephone then we are happy to assist.

If YOU need help then please feel free to contact the clinic as normal knowing you are in safe hands literally and figuratively.

We welcome you back but sadly only in a part time capacity and only one at a time.
We are completely complying with all the health/safety and appropriate hygiene regulations and on attendance it will be our singular intention that you will avoid any unnecessary contact with anyone else.

We can only see 1 patient at a time and all expectations of you attending the clinic will be explained when you make the appointment.
