Hi all,

I’ve closed the Go Fund Me now and I’m sharing the wonderful donations for transparency.

Via this method we have raised £384.82 with the platform taking £17.18 in fees.

Cash donations are continuing to role in and we will share our final total in the next few days. Every single penny goes into our residents fund.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, we can’t wait to use this money creating memories and fantastic experiences for your loved ones.

Last week our wonderful residents Barbara, Roy, Derek, Tom, Gerry and Adrian, as well as their amazing families, all got together to enjoy a fabulous Christmas meal together. Everybody had an absolutely glorious time, enjoying the laughter, food, drinks and most importantly the dessert😋. Thank you to everyone who came along and made the day extra special, we appreciate you all and are so happy you and your loved ones had such a great time☺️. As you all know, Christmas in quickly approaching us all😱
If possible, can anyone donate any unwanted Christmas decorations to our lovely Care Home please, we would really appreciate it👍🏼
It must all be in good condition as we aim to make this and every time as special as possible for your loved ones!☺️

I’m running the 5K Santa Dash on the 7th of December with the hope of raising money for our resident’s activities fund.

Bonfire day at Aaron Grange 🎆 🎇 🧨 our activity today was colouring in fireworks and doing word searches ☺️
We all had fun doing them.. also having a chat about the old days when our residents went to fireworks displays 😂
Jenny, Linda, Norma, Eileen, Barbara, Esther and Elsie all enjoyed themselves

Even if Halloween is over, these gorgeous images and kind gesture deserved a mention!! A group from the Youth Justice Service very kindly came around with goody bags 🍭 filled with sweets, hot chocolate ☕️ and a Halloween 🎃 card for the spooky occasion. Many of our wonderful residents, along with activity coordinator Mollie, got involved carving pumpkins 🎃 for the Halloween festivities today!! Carving pumpkins is messy 🫟 work so we donned our aprons and got stuck in. Everyone had a lot of fun 🤩 removing the slimy guts and drawing their very own designs to be carved out later on. Pat told activity coordinator Mollie all about Halloween when she was younger and that she used to use a Turnip instead! Thank you for all your help everyone and Happy Halloween 🎃👻🕷️🪦🧟‍♂️🧛🏽‍♂️🍬😱👹. Today we have had our thinking caps on doing our wordsearches with activity coordinator Toni trying to find all the words too see who was the fastest 🤣
Joan, Mary, Josie, Francis, Adrian and Chris where all loving taking part in the activity.. Joan said she was really thinking about how fast she could go 🤣
Josie said 'what do i win a Whisky'🥃
We had a lovley morning with lots of laughter and then our residents enjoyed a cup of tea and biscuits ☕️

Activity coordinator Toni took our lovely resident Adrian to the local pub with his wife sheila and their lovely granddaughter, what a nice afternoon we had, Adrian enjoyed his food and his pint of guinness 😋
Adrian said he would like to do it again sometime, he had a woundeful time with his family..
