Chris who attends our North Hub Living Well Day Centre in Southport loves getting out and about which he gets a tremendous amount of enjoyment from, and has so much fun.

On a visit to the Atkinson Centre in Southport, Chris loved trying on all the different hats with Chelle. The Exhibitions Chris and Chelle visited were “Between Land and Sea” and “Ancient Egypt”.

We wonder where Chris will visit next!!!!

NORTH HUB HELD A HAUNTED HALLOWEEN PARTY
The gang had the most creeptacular afternoon on Halloween.

The spooktacular day started off with a Halloween Bingo and Zombie eyeball… followed by the Monster Rave disco. Some very scary people hit the dance floor!!

A Spooktacular craft afternoon took place at Shared Lives for Halloween!
Lots of very spooky zombies and zombie lanterns were created amongst other scary items, whilst the crafters roared and cackled with laughter🎃
Everyone enjoyed some Devilishly 👹good cakes and biscuits with hot chocolate. The bananas and tangerines were declined!!! 🧟🕷🕷

ROGER CELEBRATES HIS 60TH BIRTHDAY
Woodlands celebrated Roger Boyd's 60th Birthday this week.
Roger was joined by fellow tenants and Woodlands staff and his team to toast to his 60 years on earth!

HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR CRAFTS!!!
Members of our Shared Lives group have been busy creating scary and spooky crafts for Halloween.
Have a look at Kenneth and Colin's (top two photos) spooktacular skeletons which they created at Mencap last week.💀 ☠️
Glenn and Paul (both on the right) also got creative at Bridge Inn Farm last week. Glenn was busy working on his spooky castle, whilst Paul was painting scary swirls!!🕷👹👻🧟‍♀️🦴🕸

MORE ABOUT NEW CENTRE STAGE'S HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR SHOW
The spookily fantastic show starred a new young performer - Nelly who is Vicky Bennett's little 9 year old daughter.
Nelly played the role of the child in the witches scene, who really looked terrified by their evil threats! Nelly's passion, like her mum is musical theatre and she loves spending time with all the performers. Well done Nelly!

NEW CENTRE STAGE KICKED HALLOWEEN OFF WITH A SCARY, MUSICAL SHOW - SPOOKTACULAR
The audience at their packed out theatre were treated to a scary and phenomenal performance of Halloween and horror scenes and musical showcase, including Strictly.
The whole cast were mesmerizingly good, exhibiting spooktacular, individual and group performances.
This performance was absolutely fantastic, the audience didn't want it to end and gave the cast a standing ovation!!! Well done everyone.
The cast are supported by a wonderful team of at New Centre Stage led by Vicky Bennett who devote their skills and commitment to the group. Thanks also go to Adam, who is their performance technician, who not only enhances all the lighting, digital imagery and music, his voice-overs and interaction contribute to the professionalism of their shows.

JAMES DIXON COURT ENJOYED A FANTASTIC MUSICAL AFTERNOON!
The Feel Good Band came to entertain residents, their families and staff this afternoon. The group of 8 musicians and singers belted out lots of popular songs from Lionel Richie, Carly Simon and the Beatles. Everyone had a fantastic afternoon with tea and biscuits at the interval!
Thank you so much to all the band members.
Another successful and fun afternoon for residents.

We can all relate to feeling overwhelmed? You're not alone

The world is going through a tough time right now and even if you're not directly affected by events, it can still feel like a lot to cope with. It's okay to ask for help, no matter what you, or anyone else is going through. Read our advice on managing feelings of overwhelm.
