We had a fantastic end to our week last Friday when the lovely Hannah from Musical Moments dropped by! The room was absolutely buzzing with energy as she led us through a wonderful session filled with familiar tunes, toe-tapping rhythms, and plenty of smiles. It was heartwarming to see everyone singing along and sharing those special connections that only music can create. There’s truly no better way to lift the spirits and bring the community together! A huge thank you to Hannah for sharing her talent with us—we’re already looking forward to the next one. 🎤✨

We had took our residents out for a personalised trip to the garden centre. It was a lovely, peaceful treat to explore the displays, pick out some vibrant new plants, and enjoy a quiet "cuppa" together. These outings are so important for a bit of fresh air and a change of scenery. 🌿☕

While we were out celebrating nature, we were also celebrating a very important member of our team. We are so proud to present our Employee of the Quarter award! (Check out that well-deserved smile in the photo! 📸)

This award recognizes the incredible heart and soul this person puts into their work every single day. From helping organize our garden trips to making sure every resident feels supported and cared for, they truly make our home a better place.

Things got competitive in the lounge as our residents took to the floor for a high-spirited game of hockey! From expert stick-handling to some truly impressive goals, everyone brought their A-game.

As you can see from the photos, we had plenty of champions today, each proudly showing off their hard-earned trophies. It’s wonderful to see so much energy, laughter, and sporting spirit in the home!

Our residents had a great time celebrating Chinese New Year. From intricate paper lantern making to vibrant dragon mask coloring, the room was filled with focus and fun. There’s nothing quite like a creative session paired with a good cup of tea and some biscuits to get the celebrations started!

On Tuesday, our residents were delighted to welcome some very special visitors — ponies dressed as a snowman and Rudolph the reindeer! There were lots of smiles, gentle cuddles, and wonderful moments as residents spent time interacting with the ponies.
