We can help with your existing g sling or carrier, alternatively just bring yourself and your bay as we have a huge variety for you to try out.

🤰 Pregnancy Yoga Pose of the Week: Child’s Pose (Balasana) 🤰

This week, we nurtured ourselves with Child’s Pose in between all our other moves, a gentle, restorative posture that soothes the body and calms the mind. Perfect for pregnancy, Child’s Pose provides a wonderful release for the lower back, opens up the hips, and helps you reconnect with your breath and growing baby. 💫

How to Practice Pregnancy-Friendly Child’s Pose:

1️⃣ Kneel on the mat with your big toes touching and knees wide apart to make space for your belly.
2️⃣ Slowly fold forward, bringing your torso between your thighs.
3️⃣ Extend your arms forward or let them rest beside you—whichever feels best.
4️⃣ Rest your forehead on the mat or on a bolster for added support.

Benefits for Pregnant Mamas:

🌸 Releases Tension in the Lower Back – Provides gentle relief for the aches and tightness that can come with carrying extra weight.
🌸 Opens the Hips – Allows for gentle hip flexibility and release, which can be especially helpful as your body prepares for birth.
🌸 Calms the Nervous System – This pose helps to bring a sense of calm and grounding.

Using a Bolster for Extra Support:

If you need more comfort, place a bolster or pillow lengthwise underneath your torso. This can take the pressure off your lower back, allowing you to fully relax without straining.

Take a few deep breaths, connect with baby, and enjoy the gentle peace that Child’s Pose brings. 💖

Bringing up a family can be hard work, its important to take some time for yourself too. We try to help by offering treatments and sessions for parents and children, to help take the stress out of parenting.
