From April 2026, Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) will become payable from day one of sickness absence 📢

Currently, there is a three-day waiting period, with SSP paid on the fourth day of absence.

If you do not have appropriate processes in place to manage short-term absence effectively in your business, this could have huge implications.
