Some types of redness will not respond to skincare—and this is where confusion often begins.
In many cases, persistent redness is not a surface concern, but a vascular one. Visible lines such as spider veins or broken capillaries are small blood vessels beneath the skin that have become more prominent over time.
This can be influenced by sun exposure, genetics, inflammation, rosacea, and natural ageing.
Because these vessels sit below the surface, topical products are often unable to remove them. When this is the case, treatments designed to specifically target the vessels may be more appropriate.
Vascular laser treatments work by delivering controlled energy to the vessel itself while protecting the surrounding skin.
The most important step is always correct assessment—because not all redness has the same cause, and not all redness should be treated the same way.
