What they love one day, they hate the next, then love it again.

My son came in from the snow earlier with freezing hands.

Crying. Screaming. Totally dysregulated.
We didn’t tell him to calm down.

We warmed his hands, slowly.

Once his body felt safe, his emotions followed.

I never thought I'd start a business. I never thought I'd have to handle MOQ's, DDP's, VAT's or 100 other acronyms.

It started because my son couldn’t get the help he needed to regulate in environments that expected consistent focus and attention, not to mention emotional regulation. Everyday locations such as classrooms, waiting rooms, busy public spaces.

NHS help was years away, reward charts stopped working, routines didn't matter and the sensory tools available were either clinical, ugly, impractical
 or didn’t actually work for real life.

That frustration became the idea

When you build to solve a problem you’re living every day:

The idea that you need to change who you are because the calendar rolled over is
 unnecessary.

You’re not suddenly operating with a new nervous system.

The same sensitivities, patterns, and needs often carry on, and that’s okay.

It doesn’t mean anything is wrong. It just means you’re human.

You don’t need to push harder, fix yourself, or become someone else.

You can carry on doing what feels right for you.
And if things feel a little overwhelming at times, that’s where Zensory comes in.
