Crosby Riding for the Disabled Association Crosby Group RDA provides fun, therapy and accessible sport for disabled children and adults through horse riding. Registered Charity No. 1074270

Crosby RDA was founded in 1974 and is a charity which provides horse-riding therapy solely for those with disabilities. No matter what the disability is and no matter what their age, everyone is welcome to have the opportunity to learn, grow and achieve with us here at Crosby RDA. Crosby RDA costs over £30,000 a year in running costs and is a self funded charity run entirely on charitable donations, donations from our rides and the fundraising work done by our volunteers. Any support people can give is very much appreciated. If you think you can do a coffee morning, a stall at an event, even send in unused gifts, bottles, and items for stalls at our open days etc. that would be fantastic, please send us an email if you think you can help in any way to: crosbyrda@gmail.com

✨ Merry Christmas from everyone at Crosby RDA ✨

As the year draws to a close, we want to say a heartfelt thank you.
To our riders, who remind us every week what courage and joy look like.
To our volunteers, who give their time, kindness, and endless patience.
And to everyone who supported our fundraising events none of this would be possible without you.

This year has been filled with small wins, big smiles, muddy boots, and moments that will stay with us long after the reins are hung up for winter.

We’re so grateful for our community and all that we’ve achieved together.
We hope everyone has a lovely Christmas and a bright New Year and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings.

🎄✨ WHAT A CHRISTMAS FAIR✨🎄

Thank you to everyone who came to our Crosby RDA Christmas Fundraising Fair the festive energy was unbelievable! ❤️🐴

We had face painting, Santa’s Grotto, teddy tombola, cakes, crafts, raffles and nonstop Christmas cheer. The school was buzzing and the turnout was brilliant! 🎅🍰🐻🎟️

And of course… a little festive rhyme:

🎅 From Santa in his grotto to paint on every face,
🐻 From teddies on the tombola to cakes we couldn’t chase,
🎁 You filled our school with joy and made our spirits glow,
✨ Thank you for the magic more than you could ever know!

We wanted to share a tribute to our much-loved Polo🤍🐴🌈

After a few months of ongoing stomach and digestive issues, he sadly developed colic last week and was taken straight to the vets. Further complications were found during his assessment, and the kindest decision was to let him go peacefully.🤍

Polo was 17 and had been with us for just over three and a half years, but he quickly became a favourite among riders and volunteers. 🐴

His gentle nature touched so many, and his passing has come as a real shock to us all.

He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered 🌈🐴
